In hot pursuit of gangsters over land and water
Over land and water: air cushion vehicles, better known as hovercraft, are fast and manoeuvrable. It is therefore understandable that the police use these amphibious vehicles to chase gangsters and environmental polluters. Powered by a large tail rotor and with siren blaring, they race at breakneck speed through the swamp areas, as well as over meadows and through the forest. The hovercraft is manufactured from high-grade plastic, printed with a police design and fitted with rotating flashing lights, making it the ideal accompaniment to the SIKU police vehicles and SIKU police boat. With the small wheels under the hull, it glides easily over all types of ground, and even the rotor turns.
Road signs in rural locations in this country urge greater alertness in case of cattle, or wild animals in the woods. But SIKU vehicles are played with all around the world. So it’s obvious that road signs warning of other animals on or near the road are also required: bears, elks, kangaroos, kiwis, crocodiles. And if a UFO should land, the aliens will receive a friendly greeting. The signs, produced to the usual SIKU quality out of high-grade plastic, are particularly robust and stable. Thanks to the international warning signs, the SIKU vehicles and SIKUWORLD are able to go on a voyage of discovery to foreign lands and far-flung continents.
The construction site can commence
Rubble, soil, gravel or sand – the HGVs with tipper are the all-rounders on every construction site. Powered by a strong motor, the tipper pulls a tipping trailer with tandem axle. The tippers can be loaded using the SIKU excavators and wheeled loaders. A toot of the horn and the sturdy vehicles of metal and plastic parts pull off slowly. Having arrived at the unloading site, the tippers can be tipped up and the trailers uncoupled to be unloaded at a second location. The tailgates of the tippers also open.
The latest John Deere forage harvester
Meter by meter, the imposing John Deere 8500i forage harvester munches its way through the corn field. SIKU has set the scene with the new, accurate 1:87 high-grade metal and plastic version of the model in the 8000 series. The large, powerful, rubberised wheels with the lug treads make their way even over adverse ground conditions. The details delight the make-believe farmers. The corn header can be removed and folded up for transportation to the next corn field. The tank discharge pipe, which can be used to load the harvested corn onto the waiting agricultural trailer, can also be moved.
Over 400 hp on four sets of twin tyres
Strong, stronger, the Fendt 10 series. With its size and the four twin tyres on the front and rear axles, the top model in the series makes it clear how much power this tractor brings to the field: over 400 hp and incredible torque. However, this elemental force of high-grade metal and plastic on a scale of 1:32 can still be controlled with the moveable steering wheel. The precision handling with the oscillating front axle makes it easier to turn in the field and in the farmyard. The cab is also easily removed. And off to work we go: with the moveable SIKU front and rear coupling, the largest SIKU attachment devices can be hitched up and pulled across the field.
The next race can start
