As the leading manufacturer of high quality toy models, we feel a strong sense of responsibility to our target group – children!
Axel Springer founded the campaign "EIN HERZ FÜR KINDER" to improve road safety for children out on the streets. "EIN HERZ FÜR KINDER" is now involved in projects worldwide.
Currently, “Ein Herz für Kinder” (“A Heart for Children”) is actively helping the victims of the floods in Pakistan. Thanks to “Ein Herz für Kinder”, all those whose lives were affected by the floods are receiving food and medicine aid.
“Ein Herz für Kinder” not only helps overseas, but also in Germany. 2.5 million children suffer the impact of poverty and lack of food, clothing, education and loving care. To give these children hope, “Ein Herz für Kinder” is supporting soup kitchens, schools, nursery schools, social institutions and clubs. Families who suffer poverty through no fault of their own are also helped to get back to a normal routine again.
At SIKU, we are supporting the campaign in September by bringing onto the market a brand-new Smart model featuring the "EIN HERZ FÜR KINDER" logo.
SIKU will donate 20 €-cents to BILD e.V. “EIN HERZ FÜR KINDER” for every model sold.
