Terms & Conditions SIKU Contest
1. Entry is open to everyone, with the exception of SIEPER GmbH employees. Participation is not subject to a requirement to purchase or place an order.
2. The closing date for entries is 21.05.2010.
3. Sieper GmbH is entitled to form an independent rating and to select only some entries from photographs sent in by all participants, and to publish the selected entries on the Internet for rating by the public. The entrant to the competition is not authorized to publish the photos (neither in the online services of SIKU, nor in any other form).
Sieper GmbH is not required to return the photos sent in digitally.
4. By uploading a photograph, the participant in the “SIKU Contest” assigns to Sieper GmbH and its associated companies (referred to below as SIKU) the unrestricted, non-exclusive and irrevocable geographical and permanent right to use the photo made available and uploaded by the participant for the purposes of SIKU advertising promotions, in particular, on the Internet, on packages and in print media, and without commission.
5. The right of usage in accordance with Point 4 includes the right to reproduce the photographs in all media forms, to distribute, publicly reproduce and make available to the public. SIKU is additionally entitled to edit and archive the photographs.
6. The participant guarantees that he/she owns the copyright for every transferred photo, and that this is released from any claims whatsoever and rights of third parties. In the event that a third party nonetheless issues a claim against SIKU because of the upload and/or use of the photographs, the participant is entitled to exempt SIKU from all such claims and/or to compensate for all damages that SIKU incurs from such claims.
